Do we really wanna just lump everything into one category? How can you put a band like Creed in with a band like Slipknot (nu metal)? Metalheads rejoice! For I have seen this impurity and we shall not be swayed! I have no idea what the heck Im talking about. Just saying; does alternative rock mean all other beside classical?

Many people belong to more then one group and when they see the same post placed by the same person ( you) that has nothing to do with the subject of the forum ( known as "off topic") you alienate people. They will think you are insincere and your are just blasting what spam to every forum out there. If you want any success you have to take the time to write some thing real about you and related to the topic of the forum Otherwise your messages are going right into the trash bin. Also don't quote famous poets trying to show you have culture or some education. People want to know what you have to say not read quotes from long dead poets. Stick to forums that you have a personal interest in. Your posts have an air of desperation. Also don't move so fast, When some one says they like to travel don't suggest they come to Lagos to meet you when they don't know anything about you when you know nothing about them. The world (especially the internet) is full of scammers, opportunists,a crooks of every stripe.People are suspicious of strangers especially on the internet . And when strangers start being pushy and try to get too close to someone too quickly that suspicion is multiplied 10 times over. The majority of internet scams come from Africa especially Nigeria so keep that in mind. It is not a reflection on you per se but you are a potential victim of the backlash caused by this public perception. Develop real relationships based on common interests and be your self. If your are a phony or make yourself out to be something or someone your not it won't take long for people too discover the truth and then you will be rejected so fast your head will spin. Sincereity and honesty is the best polociy. This is just my advice and you can take it or leave it but it is sent to you with sincere motives to help you. NYRocker
