hi everybody! I'm planning to have my first solo exhibit this summer and I'm thinking of Vienna. Any artists from Vienna around here? I'd love to get your feedback and ideas. I saw a very nice book (in chinese) about the masks of Beijing Opera explaining their symbolism, techniques... I'd love to find the same in English or French.. Do you know any?

beaded embroidery - how to do? patterns?

Greetings, art&crafts-minded folks - I'm looking for information on beaded embroidery - it may not be called that. Need some tips on how to do, whether or not one uses (or makes) patterns, fabric to use as base. The project I have in mind is something that will be framed and decorate walls. Any suggestions or tips?
