I love this new single from Britney: Piece of me. There are her feelings in the song, and if you watch her MTV carefully, you will find that her move is not bad at all, especially when she trys to experss herself as: a baby in the arm... This is the 1st time I like her song so much.

i agree whi what joaquin2 said and can totally understand his viewpoint, but as a record producer i can tell the difference between synthersized or vocoded instrumentals that have been cut to a 4/4 and looped repetatively, and good tight production. some of the best producers of all time are about at the moment, who fuse old style composition and chord structures with modern bass or electronic techniques of production and mixing. like william orbit, timbaland, chemical brothers, fatboy slim etc.

My already low opinion of popular music is compounded by the fact that technology has made it possible for crap to be synthesized by anyone and disseminated broadly. This does not bode well for the craft of songwritng or the pursuit of musicianship in more traditional genre's. I'm not merely a snob, however: music could potentially survive as a fusion of the old and knew and not merely collapse into a deconstructed mess.
