I have a black/tan longhaired dachshund who is 19 years old. His name is Hansi. His brother, Sasha died 4 years ago. He has slowed down , and can't take long walks, but is still as sweet as ever, and alert, too ! Just sharing ! Sara in Texas

Hello, Does anyone in this group have any American Cocker Spaniels ? I currently have 4 and would like to hear from anyone that has any. I am going to try to start a small breeding program and possibly even start showing them if I can find anyone to help me get started. Thank you, Eric

Eric i was a breeder for 25 years of working dogs..I am also a conformation Jude for a few smaller registries.I don't know to much about the Cocker but i do know they are prone to ear problems alot.I work as a Deputy for our Dog warden dept and what i have seen with the cockers most of the ones we had in our pound did not like kids. If you need to know anything about breeding just ask i will try to help you.
