Obama is a Muslim name, and he was schooled in a public school. He smoked dope, did cocaine in his teen age years and went for white girls like his mother. (All from his book). He wants to pull out of Iraq, letting the Iraqi people to chaos and widen the war in Afghanistan with European troops so Americans can get a tax break. How is that for change?

Well, as far as I can tell everything that you said is true, indianajames. But, I have to wonder why you brought it up?! Al Quada are the ones who attacked us on 9/11, not the scary Jewish bogeyman who hides under your bed at night. They had a very strong foothold in Afghanistan and they are still in that country and we need to build up Afghanistan in much the same way that we built up Iraq so that Afghanistan can be a stable country, which is what Iraq is now for the most part. How exactly would widening the war in Afghanistan, regardless of where the troops come from, give Americans a tax break!!? I don't agree with everything that Barack Obama has done since he first took office but, he has done a far better job with that time than what Bush did in his first year!

I expected a little more substance in this political debates. Let me keep it simple: Obama was trying to steer the US to the left, particularly with Obamacare. Mr Transparency my foot. I don't have any inherent dislike of better healthcare for all, but I do not think Ilegal aliens should ever get healthcare .. thought they can go the emergency ward for free treatment. My reasons are financial. This is the time to add piecemeal steps such as people can go out of state to avoid Cadillac health care or preexisting conditions should be covered. But to incorporate an expensive trillion dollar plan at this time is not really good unless you consider it will help the Republicans (I am not an ideology and I am Independent voter). Logical experts do not believe the figures that have the plan paying for itself. Who the hell cares if Obama is Christian or Muslim? He is probably an Atheist or Agnostic (the most rational and logical people around) and doesn't go to church now. He welcomed Atheists unlike George Sr who said "non-believers should not be able to vote or considered citizens. And we thought George Dinosaur Jr was the dumb one. That's all.

Obama will float unrealistic ideas such as a complete withdrawal from Iraq and trying Guantanamo terrorists in New York just because that is what is expected of him by the radical elements of his party, which is to say the majority of his party. When it comes down to it he is very pragmatic. He will not take the risk and certainly is not going to take the blame for the conflagration that would occur if the United States walked out of Iraq.

"He is probably an Atheist or Agnostic (the most rational and logical people around) and doesn't go to church now." Actually he does go to a church now, & has been since the beginning of his Presidency, near the White House. I don't see a problem with that. I don't particularly care what his religion and that includes Atheism and Agnosticism, which really are their own religion, so long as he isn't fundamentalistic about it and coincidentally many atheists and agnostics are fundamentalistic in their own religious beliefs. I do agree with you that illegal immigrants should not receive any of the healthcare benefits. Any form of amnesty, and not to mention any of the benefits that they get from welfare and any other form of gov't aid, local, state, and federal, serves to tell the ppl, specifically those who came legally to the United States, that they are chumps! In a sense, yes, life isn't fair, I think we all know this. But, that doesn't mean that the gov't shouldn't try to make things worse by making them unfair...

you really think with all the national debt and troubled economy that Iraq is Americas responsibility??? If we cannot govern our own nation then who are we to help another? This war was mobilized to feed the banks that fund it. Obama is a leader to comfort the masses while the bull shit continues. Pretty soon we'll be invading Africa for their natural resources. He will deliver the most touching speeches about they need our help and it is our responsibility to humanity. This might actually help the government but not Africans. He is a smart guy. Hes feeding the banks with continued war mobilization and aiding our government at the same time. And, time will tell maybe he deserves another line of coke.

Concerning the new immigration law passed by the Governor in Arizona. She has larger gonads than any of the politicians in Washington. I do not agree with Obama getting involved in this. For years now our country has been over-run with illegal immigrants. Too many too fast and it is partially responsible for the economical strains on this country. I am all for legal immigrants. Most are good, productive, people. Obama should shake that governors hand. She did something the rest were intimidated to do for the sake of their political careers. It took a woman to get the job done and a smart one at that. She cares about the citizens in her state.

I agree. There all a bunch of gansters and lairs. The worse I have ever seen. Trying to distroy our country. Don't you know these are the guys that protested against the establishment in the 60's and 70's...now they run this country...for now!
