single dad here in ithaca..been here a couple of years 2 son's 10 - 16 i feel very lucky living here with all the cultural activities and family friendly atmosphere.. but still it would be nice to have a lady with children to run about town with us fishing hiking or just staying in doors watching movies and cuddling on the couch..i realize these days parents are on the gaurd as far as their kids are concerned as i am but if any body is out there lets talk and maybe some day meet at the library - park - or any where that you would feel comfortable .. hope this reaches some one as tired of being alone as i am.. truly tigger

Well I am 37, a single mom of 5 kids ,2 boys 3 girls.I am a widow, My kids are my life lol so here I am :)So anyone, with any kinda advice about teenage boys, let me no mine is driving me nuts lol. He`s a good kid but i`m worried about him,All he`s into is science and Math, he`s 16 is taking all the advanced classes,but he has no social life , is that normal, or am I worrying to much about it?

Hello Mollyqees. I read your write ups and find them very interesting. You should know that teenage years are challenging years to Parents. You have to be firm in taking decisions regarding them and always show them that you love them as well most especially that their Farther is no more. Aove all you have to approach issues with prayer unto God. I pray that God will certainly see you through.

I am a single mum living in n.s.w. australia, i have 2 children at home 14, and 13, but i'm an old mum of 67, although i look and act younger, [my daughters friends think i'm 45, bless them], i find it very hard to meet someone,if i won't sleep with them and i won't i never see them again. however my children kept me going after my husband left after 37 yrs and i wouldn't be without them,all you young ones keep happy and smiling these days will pass ,time goes quickly, so god bless to you and hang in there.
